The Science Behind Synthetic Feline Pheromones

Synthetic feline pheromones have been extensively studied for their role in reducing stress-related behaviors in domestic cats.

Peer-reviewed clinical research shows that specific pheromone fractions—particularly F3 facial pheromones and cat-appeasing pheromones (CAP)—can play a meaningful role in addressing two of the most common behavioral challenges faced by cat owners: urine spraying and multi-cat conflict.

These pheromones are synthetically reproduced analogs of naturally occurring chemical signals used by cats to communicate safety, familiarity, and social harmony.
